16.1

This Agreement constitutes the entire Agreement between the parties and concludes meet and negotiate on any item, for the term of this Agreement except that:

 

16.1a

The Association and the District Apr amend the contract by mutual written agreement only.

 

16.1b

Should the Board authorize the reorganization of a school with a 5-6-7 or 6-7-8 configuration, the District and the Association shall meet within ten (10) workdays to negotiate contractual ramifications.

 

16.1c

Negotiations on the following Articles shall be reopened upon the written request of either party: (1) Article 4: Hours  of Employment, (2) Article 9: Class Size, (3) Article 12: Wages, (4) Article 13: Health and Welfare Benefits, and one other Article as the parties mutually agree. (For the 2018-2019 school year paragraph 16.1 c shall not be applicable.)

16.2

During the period of this contract, should PERB rule that certain items are included within the scope of negotiations, or should the State of California adopt a law that changes any item within the scope of negotiations, as defined in Section 3543.2 of the Government Code, or should the Federal Government adopt a law that affects any provision of this agreement, the District and the Association shall reopen negotiations, at the request of either party, on those items only.

16.3

Each party shall appoint one or two representatives for the purpose of contract maintenance. The representatives shall meet weekly unless they mutually agree to cancel a meeting.
